About Big Salmon Creek Beach in Albion, California

Big Salmon Creek Beach is at the mouth of Big Salmon Creek in a canyon below a Highway 1 bridge in Albion, CA. The beach is visible from the bridge, but unfortunately the only land access is down a narrow driveway at the end of Spring Grove Road that leads to private residences. Signs say no beach access and warn of guard dogs. These homes have access to a worthy sandy beach in a protected spot called Whitesboro Cove. The only way for the rest of us to get there is by kayaking from either Albion Flat Beach or Navarro Beach.
