The ocean beach at Dry Lagoon is a wide sandy spot with huge driftwood logs scattered about. There is a day-use parking lot at the end of a road that begins just south of the Stone Lagoon Visitor Center. Dry Lagoon also has a walk-in camping area nearby off this road. If you plan to go boating, kayaking, or swimming just visit any of the other lagoons in this park: Big Lagoon, Stone Lagoon, and Freshwater Lagoon. A hiking trail begins from the beach at the north side of Dry Lagoon and continues to the Stone Lagoon shore. The state park visitor center and bookstore is located nearby at 15336 Highway 101, Trinidad, CA.
