About Faria Beach in Ventura, California

Faria Beach is located at the north end of the private gated Faria Beach Colony in Ventura County. The county provides a small campground called Faria Beach Park at this location. It’s open to RV and tent campers and only available on a first come, first serve basis (no reservations). If you have an RV there are many more spaces along the highway in Rincon Parkway just north of Faria.

Unfortunately the day-use parking spaces at Faria Beach are very limited and parking outside the park along Pacific Coast Highway isn’t allowed.

The beach here isn’t much of a draw since there is little sand and at high tide it might be entirely wet anyway. Surfers however like this spot to catch right-hand waves that break around Pitas Point. To get to Faria Beach, take Exit 78 off Highway 101 and head south on Pacific Coast Highway (Hwy 1).
