Rincon Parkway Beach
About Rincon Parkway Beach in Ventura, California
Rincon Parkway is a linear campground that spans most of the Ventura shoreline between Faria Beach County Park and Hobson Beach County Park. The parkway is only open to RV camping on the asphalt shoulder of Pacific Coast Highway – there are no day-use parking spots between the RVs. This stretch of highway has a direct view out toward the Channel Islands. The beach is narrow and all wet at high tide, but at lower tides the gradually sloping sand is excellent for walking in the shallow surf. At the north end of parkway camp spaces there is a slight bend in the highway where you will find the widest part of the beach. Just north of the last camp spot a day-use parking area along PCH opens up where surfers will congregate on good surf days. To find Rincon Parkway from Ventura, head north on Highway 101 and take exit 78, then drive south on Highway 1. Toilets can be found along the campground in various spots.
