Orick Fishing Access Beach in Orick, California
The Orick Fishing Access is a parking area on the north side of the Redwood Creek mouth near the town of Orick. It is located on Redwood National Park property, but it’s a little-known beach access. At the beach there are endless piles of drift logs and several large rocks casting shadows on the gray sand. To get to Orick Fishing Access Beach, turn west on the first road north of the Redwood Creek bridge in Orick. Follow this road (Hufford Rd) and look for signs pointing you to the fishing access. If you just go left at every intersection, you’ll get here no problem. Note that this is a narrow road and RV’s and trailers are prohibited. Across the creek mouth to the south from this parking lot is Redwood Creek Beach and Picnic Area which has a visitor center and nice facilities for a day trip to the beach.
