Wages Creek Beach is a privately-owned beach located at the Westport Beach RV Park & Campground north of Westport. The official name of the beach is Wages Creek Beach but over time it has been branded Westport Beach. Unfortunately the RV and tent campers staying here are the only ones that get to enjoy this nice piece of sandy property. If you decide to stay here there are camp spots on the bluff, along the creek, and even directly on the beach. There is even a two bedroom cabin for rent. On site they have a camp store, playground, volleyball court, and even a laundromat. The beach is quite large where the campground is located in the Wages Creek Cove. The beach also extends north all the way to DeHaven Creek Beach in Westport-Union Landing State Beach if you are looking for a little more seclusion. At low tide this northern beach route should be dry. See the campground website for information on camping at this sandy spot along the Mendocino Coast.
