naples lights

The Naples Holiday Boat Parade takes place on the second Saturday of December. Boaters may decorate their vessels and enter the parade. The parade attracts approximately 60,000 people who can view the small boats cruise through the canals of Naples Island and the larger vessels in the Alamitos Bay outside the island. Decorated boats compete for prizes in this popular and fun event.

On Wednesday before the parade (Saturday) the houses are judged for lights decorations. On Saturday (the second Saturday in Dec.) the Naples Boat Parade begins at 6 p.m.

Large Boat Parade starts at 6:00 pm.

Small Boat Parade begins at 6:30 pm.

All boats need to have official parade numbers to participate in the parade. For boaters there are other specifics about where to queue up and what route to follow. For spectators, set up early along the parade route to get a good vantage point of all the colorful and creative boats. See the parade website for more details.
