You cannot get fresher oysters than in the small town of Marshall. Taking up the entire eastern side of Tomales Bay, the community is known for its roadside oyster sales, as well as those found at area restaurants. This tourist-friendly town offers just two places to access the beach; at Nick’s Cove and Alan Sieroty Beach. Nick’s Cove provides a public boat launch, as well as cottages and a restaurant, while Alan Sieroty is relatively unknown, with its serene bay views.
