With a handful of restaurants and lodging options, Olema offers a distinctive experience for visitors. Once believed to have been the epicenter of San Francisco’s massive 1906 earthquake, Olema includes a number of huge fault rifts. It also offers some remote beaches that you can only get to by visiting the nearby Bear Valley Visitor Center. You’ll find Wildcat Beach by hiking or biking, and the rewards are great with its beachside waterfall. Kelham Beach is also secluded, with its nearby cliffs, waterfalls and tunnels while the tide pools of Sculptured Beach are well worth the walk.
