About North Point Beach in Morro Bay, California

North Point is a small park with a natural area of brush and dunes just north of Morro Bay, CA. The park (signed Northpoint) is just over one acre in size, but it has a long stairway that descends to a large sandy beach below the bluff.

This area is known for its tide pools that are exposed at low tide. During any tide, the beach north and south of this rocky point is excellent and ready for long beach walks.

Morro Strand State Beach, including its popular campground, is to the south of North Point. Just to the north of North Point is Toro Creek Beach, a beach that’s frequented by very happy (and leash free) dogs.

Parking for North Point is at small public lot located at the end of Toro Lane (next to address 3480 Toro Ln). From there take the stairs down to North Point Beach or take trails north along the bluff to Toro Creek Beach.
