About Dominator Shipwreck in Palos Verdes Estates, California
See what remains of a freighter ship that crashed ashore on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in 1961. The rusting parts of the Dominater Shipwreck can be found on the point north of Lunada Bay Beach and south of Palos Verdes Estates Beach. The trails down to to Lunada Bay are steep and loose so don’t attempt them if you are not comfortable with dangerous routes like this one. Access from the north beach is not exposed but the beach walk is longer. Walking on the rocky shoreline is challenging from both directions so bring sturdy shoes for this adventure.
