South Oceanside Beach is in the Oceanside, CA neighborhood of South Oceanside. The beach stretches along South Pacific Street south of Buccaneer Park all the way to the private St. Malo Beach community. This is a long narrow beach squeezed between the surf and the piled up rocks that protect all the homes where the sand has eroded away. At high tide this beach is usually all wet. The main access to South Oceanside Beach is at Cassidy Street and Pacific where street parking can be found, but might be limited. At this location there might be a lifeguard on duty, but there won’t be any facilities.
