Bluebird Beach

Bluebird Beach is a narrow sandy beach in front of the Surf & Sand Resort near the intersection of Highway 1 and Bluebird Canyon Drive in Laguna Beach, CA.

The resort is built right to the sand level so there is no feel of privacy here. Walking on the beach in either direction is fun to do, especially when the tide is out.

South is Agate Street Beach and Pearl Street Beach with the Keyhole in Arch Rock visible from here. Just offshore to the north is Halfway Rock and on a clear day you can see Catalina Island from this long stretch of Laguna Beach’s shoreline.

North there are more dead-end street stairway access points at Mountain Road Beach and Cress Street Beach. These nearby beaches have a different feel because the homes are built up on the bluff instead of on the beach.

Access to Bluebird Beach is down a ramp on the south side of the Laguna Sands building at 1585 S Coast Highway. Street parking is available nearby.
