Manresa Uplands Beach (Sand Dollar Beach)

The Manresa Uplands Campground unit of Manresa State Beach has a separate entrance south of La Selva Beach, CA. This facility has a day-use parking area in addition to its own campground. The Manresa Uplands camp spots are the walk-in type and the overnight parking area is separate. There is a drop off area where you can park temporarily while unloading camping gear. From the day use area there is a walking path and a long stairwell that leads down the steep bluff. The beach at Manresa Uplands is wide, sandy, and very long. This portion of the Monterey Bay shoreline is pretty much a continuous sandy crescent from Moss Landing to Capitola.

To get to the Uplands, turn south on San Andreas Road from La Selva Beach then turn onto Sand Dollar Drive. Note that the campground portion of this park is usually closed in the winter season.
