Sacramento Landing Beach

Sacramento Landing has a small beach on the Tomales Bay side of the Point Reyes Peninsula. This is one of a few inhabited coves on the western shore of Tomales Bay. Sacramento Landing was at one time home to Coast Miwok descendants. Vacation homes were built on these parcels in the mid-1900’s. The National Park Service now owns this property and has provided housing for researchers by establishing the Sacramento Landing Marine Research Station. It’s unknown when or if the park will allow public use of the beach and facilities at Sacramento Landing.
