About Tomales Beach in Inverness, California
Tomales Beach is a boat-in campground on Tomales Bay in Point Reyes National Seashore. An outhouse is provided at the beach so if you are boating and wish to camp on the Tomales Bay shoreline and you don’t have a portable toilet then this or Marshall Beach are your choices. Tomales Beach is a popular kayaking camp spot. There is no potable water so you must bring enough for your entire stay. Boats can be launched at Nick’s Cove public boat launch or rented at Lawson’s Landing. Kayaks can be rented in Inverness or Marshall from Blue Waters Kayaking.
