About Plaskett Creek Campground in Big Sur, California
Right across the highway from one of the best beaches on the California Big Sur Coast, Sand Dollar Beach, is the Plaskett Creek Campground. It’s a national forest campground so it’s more rustic than some of the private campgrounds along the coast. However, it’s clean, well-maintained, and can accommodate many tent and RV campers. It is popular spring through fall, but reservations are most recommended in the summer months as camping options are limited along this popular scenic highway.
