St. Orres Hotel and Cottages

Saint Orres is a stunning place to stay along the Mendocino Coast. They have a main hotel designed in a unique Russian architecture which blends well with the nearby towns of Gualala and Anchor Bay and the surrounding area. On site are many cottages and cabins situated in meadows and alongside a creek. The attention to detail in the rooms and common areas is something to behold. St. Orres is located about 2 hours from Santa Rosa, 3 hours from San Francisco, and 3.5 hours from Sacramento.

Dining at St Orres is a special treat. Breakfast is included in your stay and is delivered right to your room. Dinner is served nightly starting at 5pm in their beautiful dining room. On Sundays they offer an excellent brunch. They also have a turn of the century bar with a deck that overlooks the ocean.

The spa at St. Orres is in a separate pavilion and has a sun deck, hot tub, sauna, and a massage room. Walking the grounds here is a must too as the landscaping is incredible. Across the street is Cooks Beach, an excellent beach just a short walk from your room.

If you are driving the Northern California Coast and planning to stay somewhere along your trip, you must consider St. Orres. Book rooms well in advance if you can.
