This incredible beachfront resort is one of the best hotels in Southern California. All 167 of their rooms and suites have ocean views, and some have private furnished balconies. The Surf & Sand offers several dining options, a beautiful spa, and event space should you decide to get married on the beach or celebrate a milestone there.
Capri Laguna on the Beach
Capri Laguna is a very popular place—they require a two night minimum when you book. But if you stay in one of their oceanfront rooms and suites, you’ll see why so many people love this hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the service is exceptional, and the location can’t be beat. Prices here range from affordable for the location ($184 for a standard queen) to high ($364 for a beachfront king with fireplace).
The Tides at Laguna Beach
Looking for an affordable getaway? The clean, comfortable rooms at The Tides all rent for under $200 per night. And don’t think you have to sacrifice quality to get the deal—amenities include free parking and WiFi, air conditioning, a saltwater pool, an outdoor fireplace and a gas grill. Some rooms even have kitchenettes.
The Tides is located three blocks north of Main Beach, near beautiful Heisler Park, so you’ll be within walking distance of the sea.
Crescent Bay Inn
The team at the recently renovated Crescent Bay Inn treats their guests well, offering a free continental breakfast and all the comforts of home. The hotel is located near the beach and rooms are typically reasonably priced, especially given the location.
Pacific Edge on Laguna Beach
If you desire a truly unique experience, stay at the Pacific Edge and rent one of the five bungalows that provide the ultimate party. Available for day use only, each bungalow holds up to 10 guests and comes with a VIP host, a private bathroom with a shower, a bar area, valet parking, catered food and drinks, and a private deck.

A Laguna Beach hotel list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the incredible Montage Resort. No expense was spared in creating these accommodations… in fact, there are so many amenities here that you’ll never have to leave the property. This is definitely a special occasion spot—you’ can expect to spend around $700 a night or more. But staying here is a truly incredible experience.
