About Moss Beach
Moss Beach doesn’t necessarily provide the sun soaked beaches of Southern California, but it does offer interesting scenery and wide-ranging marine life. Beaches in this area are mainly known for their fantastic options for tide pool exploration. These natural wonders are found at the two county operated beaches of James V. Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. Leave your beach bucket in the car, though. You can’t collect any rocks or shells in this protected area.
