About Timber Cove in Jenner, California

Timber Cove Beach is at the Timber Cove Campground and Boat Landing about 14 miles north of Jenner in Sonoma County. The campground caters mostly to RV campers, but there are tent spots available too. The resort managers will require a fee for day-use access to the beach which is frequented by shore fishermen. Sea kayakers and scuba divers are common users of this spot in addition to fishermen and boaters. It’s not a great swimming or sunbathing beach, but it is a beautiful little cove. The other beaches nearby can be found at Fort Ross State Historic Park to the south and Stillwater Cove Regional Park just north. The Timber Cove Resort is just up the highway with a cozy hotel and restaurant.
