Diver’s Cove in Laguna Beach, California
Diver’s Cove Beach is at the west end of Heisler Park near downtown Laguna Beach, CA. The beach is right below and just east of the Divers Cove Condominium building. A public stairway access can be found adjacent to the building.
As the name indicates this is a great cove for scuba diving with reefs just offshore. The rocky point that supports a large condo building provides Diver’s Cove Beach some protection from the west although rip conditions still make swimming dangerous at times.
At high tide the beach might be mostly wet, but at low tide there is a lot of sand and some of the people at Picnic Beach will walk over to this cove.
There are no facilities right at Diver’s Cove however you can quickly walk over to Heisler Park if necessary. There is a small metered parking lot above the cove and street parking spots can be found all along the park.
