Gallagher Beach on Catalina Island

Gallagher Beach on Catalina Island is just north of Avalon and is only accessible by boat.

The Christian-based Campus By The Sea has been here since the 1950’s and claims it as their private beach. It’s used for a Christian Camp and a conference center.

Gallagher Beach has a rocky shoreline set in a northeast facing cove. There is a pier for boat docking, but unfortunately no public facilities. The Catalina Express ferries visitors to Catalina Island daily from the mainland in Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Dana Point.
