About Sunset Point Park on Mission Bay in San Diego, California

Sunset Point Park is on Mission Bay next to The Dana Hotel and SeaWorld San Diego. There is a sandy shoreline here complete with fire pits for evening bonfires, but the sand and water is separated by a protective rock wall. This makes Sunset Point better for picnics and taking a walk instead of swimming and playing in the bay. The large grass park has picnic tables scattered about and restrooms near the parking lot. To get here, follow directions to The Dana (1710 W Mission Bay Dr) and turn left into Sunset Point Park immediately after turning off West Mission Bay Drive.
