Ventura Cove Park is on Mission Bay near Belmont Park Amusement Park on Mission Beach in San Diego. The beach at Ventura Cove is small but it has a huge parking lot right next to the sand.

Fire rings line the shoreline for evening bonfires and the grass park on Ventura Point has many tables for picnicking during the day.

Signs marking the entrance to Ventura Cove Park can be found at West Mission Bay Drive and Gleason Road.

Bahia Point Beach is farther up Gleason Road next to the Bahia Hotel and just across Mission Bay Drive is Bonita Cove Park with another long shoreline to walk.

Lifeguards are on staff at Ventura Cove Beach typically throughout the summer.
