About Howlands Landing on Catalina Island in Two Harbors, California

Howlands Landing Beach is a private beach located on the western end of Catalina Island a few miles away from Two Harbors town. The land and beach in this cove is leased to the Los Angeles Yacht Club and Catalina Island Camps (CIC), a youth education group that runs summer camps here.

There is boat moorage available at Howlands Landing, but no anchorage.

Catalina Express operates passenger ferries daily to Catalina Island from the mainland in Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Dana Point. The ferry from Los Angeles (San Pedro port) goes to Two Harbors.
