Oceanside Harbor Beach is a wide sandy beach in front of Oceanside’s harbor. The beach is boxed in by two rock jetties at both ends which seems to hold in the large amounts of sand here.
Oceanside Pier is in the distance to the south and the marina is visible right behind the beach (good place to SUP). The harbor has shops and restaurants if you plan to spend the entire day at the beach. You’ll also find volleyball courts, picnic areas, barbeques for grilling, and other beach amenities.
Those who are into fishing can cast off the jetties at Harbor Beach. If you don’t have a license and want to fish, head down to the pier.
Surfers ride the waves here when conditions are right, but most will be lining up on waves down by the pier.
To get to Oceanside Harbor Beach from Interstate 5, take the Harbor Drive exit and follow it to the pay parking lots at the end right on the beach.
