Families travel from all over the country and the rest of the world to experience the magic of Disneyland. It’s a fun place for kids and adults, but after a couple days of hanging out with Disney characters and riding amusement park rides, we all need a change of pace. Heading to the stunning beaches of Southern California is one of the best ways to get a breath of fresh air. Some of these beaches are crowded like the walkways at Disneyland, but others are relatively quiet and relaxing. Luckily the city of Anaheim is close to over 150 beaches in Los Angeles and Orange County.
While the beaches of Huntington Beach and Long Beach are closest to the city of Anaheim, it’s worth considering other places that will be a slightly longer drive. This includes the hidden beaches of Malibu, the best beaches of Laguna Beach, and huge beaches of Santa Monica. Another place we should mention is Crystal Cove State Park which is a popular family-friendly park that straddles the border of two beautiful cities, Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. No matter where you get to put your toes in the water, it will complete a fun family vacation to Disneyland and Southern California.
Here is a map and a list of the best beaches that are near Disneyland.
