Gibraltar Beach on Catalina Island is a boat-in campground. No roads or trails lead here so it’s only accessible by boat or by kayak. Kayaks can be rented nearby in Avalon or Two Harbors.

This remote beach doesn’t have toilets or running water and fires are not allowed.

Reservations are required to camp here and other rules apply so learn more about boat-in camping on the island before planning your trip.

Scuba divers come here and nearby Cabrillo Harbor Beach to dive at the reef off the point, called Little Gibraltar, which separates the two beaches.

Catalina Express operates boats daily to Catalina from the mainland in Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Dana Point.
