Little Beach is a popular clothing-optional beach located in a cove at the north end of Muir Beach (the beach) in the small town of Muir Beach, CA. The area on the other side of the creek is not part of Golden Gate National Recreation Area so it falls under Marin County rules. Even though county rules forbid sunbathing sans clothes, Little Beach Cove has been long accepted as a clothing optional area. To get to Little Beach, drive to the main Muir Beach and park in the parking lot there. Walk across the bridge and follow the trail to the beach and walk north. Cross the creek and walk around and over rocks to the secluded cove on the other side.
