Irvine is an inland city in Orange County that doesn’t have any beaches of its own. However it’s close to some of the finest beaches in Southern California. All of the beaches from Long Beach down to San Clemente are easy access from Irvine. That’s 101 beaches!

Irvine has a lot going for it. Nearby are large parks with trails galore for hiking and biking. Shoppers have numerous shopping centers to choose from. City parks are everywhere. And they have an excellent college in UC Irvine. Staying here is easy as there are many hotels in the city and near the adjacent John Wayne International Airport. Residents and visitors to Irvine are lucky to have so many beaches to choose from and reliable Southern California weather too.

Some of the best and closest beaches to Irvine are right down the hill at Crystal Cove State Park where there are several large parking areas and several beaches to walk. On either side of this vast park you can find more beaches in the cities of Newport Beach and Laguna Beach.
